Boeing Vertol

Boeing Vertol was the helicopter division of Boeing, producing the CH-47 Chinook and CH-46 Sea Knight. The company pioneered tandem-rotor helicopter design, creating some of the most capable heavy-lift helicopters ever built.
Heritage
Originally Piasecki Helicopter, the company was acquired by Boeing in 1960. The Chinook remains in production today, a testament to the soundness of the original design. Few aircraft have served continuously for over six decades.
