Glenn L. Martin Company

USA Est. 1912

Glenn Martin started building airplanes before most people had seen one fly. His company became the master of flying boats and medium bombers, building machines that crossed oceans and won wars.

Heritage

The Martin Mars flying boats were the largest allied flying boats of WWII, and the B-26 Marauder earned a fearsome reputation in the European theater. Martin merged into Martin Marietta in 1961, which later became Lockheed Martin. The lineage runs deep in American aerospace.
